RODY is the artificial intelligence integrated into DYOR. It doesn't replace the Trendscanner or Smart Setups — it sits on top of them. RODY serves to summarize in plain language what technical tools have detected, to explain a setup, to answer questions about a coin or indicator. Used well, it saves enormous time. Used poorly, it can give false confidence. This article helps you tell the difference.
What RODY can do
RODY has access, for each analyzed coin, to DYOR's raw data: multi-timeframe trend, indicators, detected patterns, key levels, divergences, smart setups, volume. From that base, it can do four things.
1. Generate technical analysis
On a coin's page, the "RODY Analysis" button generates a narrative analysis on the timeframe of your choice (15m, 1h, 4h, 1d, 3d, 1W). The result covers trend, momentum, important levels, and detected signals — in a few readable sentences in 30 seconds. Each analysis costs 1 token.
2. Produce Setup Posts
Setup Posts are visual analyses published by RODY in the feed. Each post combines a mini-chart, text summary, bias (bullish/bearish/neutral), and confidence score. It's a fast way to browse the best current configurations without doing manual analysis yourself.
You can also request a RODY post on a coin from your watchlist: single timeframe (1 token) or multi-timeframe (1 token). Daily auto-curated posts — selected by RODY across the whole market — are free and accessible to everyone.
Curated setup posts are gated premium for 2 hours after publication, then become public. Same content either way — just a head start for members.
3. Chat in interactive mode
Chat with RODY (/ai/chat) lets you ask free-form conversational questions. Unlike a generic LLM, RODY has access to your DYOR data in real-time via integrated tools:
- Coin info — price, market cap, current trend
- Coin analysis — the same data as in inline analysis mode
- Smart Setup — the setup detected on a coin × TF
- Divergences — active RSI/MACD divergences
- Watchlist — your followed coins
- Paper portfolio — your open paper trading positions
- Market view — overview of the market
Useful question examples:
- "What's BTC's context right now?"
- "Compare SOL and AVAX momentum on the 4h."
- "Explain the bearish divergence detected on ETH."
- "Which coins on my watchlist are in bullish setups?"
Each message costs 1 token, regardless of how many tools are called internally.
4. Create a strategy with AI
In the Strategy Maker, the "Create with AI" mode lets you describe your strategy in natural language. RODY translates it into concrete filtering conditions — indicators, thresholds, logical operators — directly usable in the scanner.
It supports category macros: a phrase like "coins with bullish candles" automatically translates to roughly thirty individual conditions on detected patterns. Cost is 1 token, debited only on save.
What RODY can't do
It doesn't predict the future
No AI can tell you with certainty if a price will go up. RODY can say "the configuration is mostly bullish according to technical signals" — that's a probability, not a guarantee.
It has no recent macro context
RODY reasons about technical data provided by DYOR. It knows nothing about this morning's Fed announcement, the viral tweet, or the hack that just happened on an exchange. If the market reacts to news, RODY doesn't see it — that's your job to integrate it.
It can hallucinate if asked too much
Like all AIs, RODY can invent things if you ask a question it can't really answer. Ask specific and verifiable questions, and test its claims against what you see on the chart.
It's not a financial advisor
Nothing RODY produces is investment advice. It's an analysis aid.
How to use it well
- Ask it to explain, not to decide. "Explain this configuration to me" is a good question. "Should I buy?" is a bad one.
- Verify its claims. If RODY says "RSI is oversold on the 4h", look at the chart. If it matches, you validate. If it doesn't, you learn to read both together.
- Use it to learn. "Why is this pattern a head and shoulders?" — the answers progressively teach you to see configurations without help.
- Keep your grid. If RODY says "bullish" but your analysis says "no, the volume isn't there", trust your analysis. Your job is to filter the AI, not blindly follow it.
- Spend your tokens strategically. Reserve analyses for coins that really matter, not every coin you glance at.
Tokens and pricing
All RODY features work on an AI tokens system:

| Setup Post single TF | 1 token |
| Setup Post multi-TF | 1 token |
| Chat (per message) | 1 token |

Premium plans (30d, 120d, 360d) include their token equivalent as a bonus. For details, see the Pricing page.
To go further
Open any coin from your watchlist, launch an analysis on the 4h, and read the result by checking each claim against what you see on the chart. That's the most educational exercise to understand how RODY reasons — and especially, where it can be wrong.
Then move to the Strategy Maker to build your own strategy with or without RODY's help.
